Cynthia J. Cole has more than 18 years of experience representing global companies and in complex strategic transactions. Her clients benefit from Ms. Cole's experience as CEO and General Counsel in public and private companies. She has extensive experience with technology companies, and a focus on technology and cross-border transactions, including leading Telecommunications, Software/SaaS and Semiconductor. She is experienced with data privacy and protection, including the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and regularly advises clients on data privacy issues and diligence in transactional, M&A and other strategic business transactions. Ms. Cole is certified as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Neil Coulson is a data privacy lawyer. Neil’s experience extends to all aspects of regulatory compliance, often with cross-border elements, and includes advising companies on their compliance under GDPR and the EU-US Privacy Shield and coordinating international compliance programs for multi-nationals. He advises on data privacy in the context of M&A transactions and commercial contracts, conducting seller and buyer diligence projects and data audits, as well as counseling on contractual terms and on all issues relating to the exploitation of big data cloud storage, the IoT and the proposed new e-Privacy regulation. On the disputes side, Neil addresses regulatory issues arising from data breaches and has represented clients in trade secret misappropriation litigations before the English courts. Neil serves as the firm’s data protection officer.

Sheila Jambekar is Associate General Counsel and Data Protection Officer at Twilio, a high-growth public communications platform as a service company, with over a dozen locations worldwide and global reach. At Twilio, Ms. Jambekar built and continues to lead the privacy program. This has included spearheading the operationalization of GDPR throughout the organization as well as obtaining approval for and overseeing the implementation of Twilio's Binding Corporate Rules. In addition to overseeing the privacy program, she also oversees the product compliance and law enforcement response operations functions. Prior to joining Twilio, Ms. Jambekar was Senior Counsel at Zynga where she advised the company regarding privacy and product compliance, including marketing and promotions legal compliance.
