Brooke Colaizzi is a Member of Sherman & Howard’s Labor & Employment Law Department. Brooke began her career with Sherman & Howard in 2003 and since that time has represented employers in all types of employment matters. Brooke has litigated claims under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and the FLSA, including significant experience with FLSA collective actions and hybrid collective-class actions, as well as state-law contract and tort claims before administrative agencies and in both federal and state court. She counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, including contracts, workplace policies, employee relations, wage/hour issues, leave laws, wellness programs, independent contractors, and covenants not to compete. Brook was awarded 2013 Law Week Colorado‘s Barrister’s Best in Show: Best Employment Lawyer, Defense.

Connie focuses her practice on whistleblower, trade secrets, government contractors and employee mobility counseling and litigation. She frequently conducts confidential internal investigations involving executive-level employees, including alleged fraud, theft or misuse of company data, trade secrets, sexual harassment and code of conduct violations. She routinely counsels, investigates and litigates restrictive covenant and trade secrets disputes between employers and former employees. Connie has defended complex whistleblower, trade secrets and restrictive covenant litigation across the United States, including claims brought under Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, the False Claims Act and other federal and state employment and whistleblower provisions.

Suzanne L.
