This program offers practical suggestions in navigating potential repayment dilemmas under the CMS "60-Day Rule." The presentation addresses steps for compliance officers and providers to consider in assessing credible allegations of potential overpayments, documenting internal analyses, including considerations in conducting appropriate probe and statistical sampling reviews.

As a partner at Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs in Atlanta, Tracy Field focuses her practice in advising healthcare providers in regulatory, reimbursement and compliance matters including government investigations. In addition to her experience in private practice, Tracy worked as a chief compliance officer and executive for a large, integrated health care system. She has worked in clinical research matters, as well as advised clients regarding HIPAA and HiTech issues. Prior to her legal career, Tracy worked for several years in clinical genetics and reproductive endocrinology.
 
Tracy's undergraduate degree in Human Biology is from Stanford University. She earned her Masters of Science degree from UC-Berkeley in Health and Medical Sciences and graduated from Emory Law.
