| Diane Griffin Holland, Vice President of Law and Policy at USTelecom | Diane Griffin Holland is Vice President of Law and Policy at USTelecom, where she develops and implements the association’s policy and advocacy work before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the courts.
Prior to joining USTelecom in December 2014, Holland enjoyed a distinguished 18-year career at the FCC, serving in various leadership roles as a policy advisor and a communications and administrative law counselor. In her last position as the deputy associate general counsel for administrative law in the FCC’s Office of General Counsel, Holland oversaw the legal analysis and review of all matters relating to broadband and wireline competition, including universal service, telecommunications relay service, consumer protection and privacy, and enforcement. She also provided legal advice to the general counsel, chairman and commissioners, and FCC bureaus and offices. Previously, Holland held numerous positions in the Wireline Competition Bureau (and its predecessor, the Common Carrier Bureau), including associate bureau chief and chief of staff.
In addition to her current work at USTelecom, Holland serves as Vice Chair of the North American Numbering Council, an FCC federal advisory committee. Holland received her J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center. |
