This webinar will focus on key data privacy and security requirements for digital health and health IT companies including the general data protection regulation (GDPR), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and special protections for certain categories of sensitive health information.  We will also discuss the implications of data privacy and security laws on the use of protected health information for product development, research, and other purposes, and strategies for addressing ransomware attacks.
